Top at the hill quiet and nice looking here is Muteesa 1 Royal university (MRU) kirumba Masaka campus which is the main campus .information is power and to have information to have power, here is to opportunity to be informed that Muteesa has got two main branches ie Muteesa kirumba Masaka and kakeeka. It has also get various educational centres at Mubende, Rakai, Kiboga and the recent one at Bugerere. Muteesa I Royal university is the only royal university in Buganda  and Uganda  at large. It was   opened in October 2007 and held its first graduation ceremony in April, 15^th 2011.

Muteesa I Royal University is not discriminative in culture, religion, tribes and race since it welcomes each and everybody.

Muteesa I Royal university focuses on the development of student`s talents, whereby, there are various competitions like the inter faculty competition as students participate in various activities which help them to develop their talents like in netball, volleyball, football to mention but a few since people through the use of talents like the case of kiprotich.

It  has got a good administration  which has qualified lecturers and also administrators who are welcoming ,they are however turf to some extent mainly to those students who cheat exams ,those who strike or any other criminal case they are punished meaning that they shape the students discipline .

On medical facilities they have moved a step,  this because students are provided with medication at campus at little fee of only 10000shs a full semester which quiet little money favorable  to each and every one .

How can I leave tuition, tuition fee is favorable to the parents and the Buganda government provides students with bursaries to students who seek for them especially the low income earners and they really show interest in learning .They have kabaka Education Fund(KEF) and District Education Fund(DEF)one from Buganda (mengo)and from different districts and each district is permitted to bring three students The KEF organization provides half bursaries which is half of the tuition and DEF gives out full bursaries. MRU provides students with accommodation ,it has got hostels which can accommodate a big number of people mainly students from far places and they  can move from home every day and they come for lectures .They are rented at a low cost compared to other universities .

In case of security MRU has got the best priority it has got the savanna security group who are mindful to the student because if they exceed the normal time selected they are questionable ,talk of the security lights around the campus both inside and outside, fire  extinguishers which can protect  the university in case of fire.

Since 60percent or 50percent is given by lecturers the students have a task of looking for the other 50percent to make 100,MRU has got a solution for that since it has got a well stoked  library which helps students to carry research in order to pass their exams and doing their course work IT the students are also equipped with a computer  laboratory where carry out their practical .
